Global four-degree model#

class veros.setups.global_4deg.GlobalFourDegreeSetup(override=None)[source]#

Bases: VerosSetup

Global 4 degree model with 15 vertical levels.

This setup demonstrates:

  • setting up a realistic model

  • reading input data from external files

  • including Indonesian throughflow

  • implementing surface forcings

  • applying a simple ice mask
